INTELLISYS / NETWORK GUIDE

Networks & access

Understand the gateway address, certificate trust and the routes to your server.

NETWORK / 01

A complete address
points to the right entry.

Employees receive a gateway address from the administrator. CroLink appends control API paths to it.

https://gateway.example/CroGate
Protocol

HTTPS is the default transport.

Host and optional port

The reachable gateway address.

Gateway path

Include /CroGate with its exact capitalization.

NETWORK / 02

Three ways to reach
the same team server.

Network access methods support the gateway entry. Each has its own setup, trust and operational responsibilities.

NETWORK ACCESS

Three routes to the same gateway

Three routes to the same gateway. LAN, Tailscale and optional Cloudflare access sit beneath the product entry layer. CroLink’s Cloudflare Access integration needs further work.

Gateway access methods
MethodConditions and boundaries
Local networkThe baseline direct route. Check reachable address, registered origins, source rules and certificates.
TailscaleThe device joins the configured remote network, then uses the gateway’s private address. CroLink uses existing system networking.
CloudflareOptional Access + Tunnel route into a dedicated gateway entrance. CroGate login remains required; CroLink Access integration needs further work.

NETWORK / 03

Confirm the server
you intend to trust.

New gateways use HTTPS by default. CroLink can confirm and pin a server certificate for a specific origin.

01

Enter

Use the complete address supplied by your administrator.

02

Inspect

Review the certificate details and fingerprint.

03

Confirm

Save the trust choice for that HTTPS origin.

04

Renew

Confirm again when the server certificate changes.

CroHub is the product entry
above these access choices.

The planned SaaS layer will define organizational identity, gateway authorization, web and terminal delivery, and behavior on expiry or sign-out.

PLANNED PRODUCT LAYER
Integration to be defined

Keep product entry and network route distinct.

LAN, Tailscale and Cloudflare are ways to reach CroGate. CroHub is a planned SaaS product for employee entry and team management.

Public publishing is off by default. Its current management path needs a Linux host gateway and HTTPS. Traffic using Cloudflare is decrypted within that service.
